Managing Websites

Add, organize, and manage the websites you want to monitor.

In OpsKitty, a "website" is a logical container for a domain or service. It groups related endpoints together and appears as a component on your public status page. You can have multiple websites per organization — for example, one for your main app, one for your API, and one for your marketing site.

Adding a website

  1. 1

Go to Dashboard → Websites and click Add Website.

  2. 2

Enter a name (e.g., "Main App") and the URL of the website (e.g., https://example.com).

  3. 3

Click Save. The website is created and appears in the list. You can now add endpoints to it.

Website fields

  • Name — a human-readable label used in the dashboard and on your status page.
  • URL — the root URL of the service. Used to display a favicon and as a link in the dashboard.
  • Enabled — when disabled, all endpoint checks under the website are paused. Useful during migrations or planned downtime.
