Discord Integration

Get monitoring alerts posted to a Discord channel.

Plan requirement: Discord alerts require the Launch plan or above.

Setup

    In your Discord server, right-click the channel you want alerts in and select Edit Channel.

    Go to Integrations → Webhooks → New Webhook. Give it a name (e.g., "OpsKitty") and click Copy Webhook URL.

    In OpsKitty, open an endpoint, go to Alerts → Add Alert, select Discord, and paste the webhook URL.

    Set your failure threshold and save.

What the alert looks like

Alerts appear as Discord embeds with color coding — red for a triggered alert, green for a resolved one. The embed includes the endpoint name, URL, failure reason, region, and timestamp. Recovery messages include total downtime duration.

Tip: Use a separate #monitoring channel so alert messages don't get lost in your main server channels.
